Cave Tubing & Blue Hole

This tour’s starting point is at St. Herman’s National Park, here your guide will be waiting for you once your tour is confirmed. Your guide will briefly explain safety precautions, and what to expect on this tour before heading to the cave. There is a short 15 mins hike, mostly flat terrain, through some nature trails and part jungle where you can appreciate some birds and plant species.

Once you reach the cave entrance, you will descend into darkness and your adventure begins. Your guide will be providing some interesting details on the geology of these caves, conservation efforts and how these were once used by the Mayas as portals to the underworld.

The tour lasts approx. 3 hours from start to finish, after you exit the cave, you can then visit the famous Inland Blue Hole located at the same St. Herman’s National Park for a refreshing swim. This was formed by the collapse of an underground limestone cave.
